Brian joined Westlink in 1999 and was appointed Managing Director in 2004. He has over 25 years experience in the property industry, initially working in the rating and taxing area.
Brian specialises in the provision of valuations and property advice in relation to high value and complex property types. He assists many clients with property and valuation disputes and has appeared as an expert witness in rating valuation and compulsory acquisition cases. Brian is a member of the Valuer General Victoria’s Panel of Valuers and is also a member of the Municipal Group of Valuers.
Brendan is a Director of Westlink Consulting and was one of the co-founders of the business in 1997. With over 30 years’ valuation experience in all property sectors with specialisms in CBD fringe property, commercial and industrial properties, larger retail premises and shopping centres, quarries and residential development sites throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
He is a qualified Specialist Retail Valuer and undertakes a variety of rental determinations and is a panel member of the Australian Property Institute President’s Panel in addition to being a member of the Valuer General Victoria’s Panel of Valuers and the Municipal
Bianca joined Westlink in 2008 and has over 13 years’ experience in the property industry. Bianca has recently been appointed as the Rating & Taxing Division Manager and has extensive experience in rating & taxing valuations having worked on the Casey & Cardinia general revaluations since 2010.
Bianca also undertakes a range of municipal valuations including: objections; public open space valuations; asset & insurance; acquisition & disposal of council land; and valuations for development contribution plans. Bianca is also experienced in compensation valuations; specifically in the acquisition of development land in Greenfield areas throughout the south east corridor.
Bianca also undertakes a diverse range of private client and institutional valuations for commercial, industrial and rural properties. Bianca is a member of the Valuer General Victoria’s Panel of Valuers and is an executive committee member of the Municipal Group of Valuers.
Sarah began her valuation career as an Assistant Valuer at the City of Stonnington before joining Westlink in 1999 where she undertook a number of valuation and project management roles. Sarah later became joint manager of the Rating and Taxing Division where she developed many processes and procedures for the Rating an Taxing Division.
Sarah has undertaken and managed numerous complex rating and taxing projects for local government clients. She has a wealth of experience in mass valuations and in particular in the development of mass models for complex and high value property types. She is also experienced in the management of valuation objections and appeals, delivering good outcomes for clients.
Alvin has over 10 years’ valuations experience spanning from rating and taxing valuations, compensation and acquisition, financial reporting valuations, project management and GIS expertise. Alvin has extensive experience in the inner east, northern, western suburbs and metropolitan Melbourne with respect to residential, retail, commercial and industrial markets both for the public and private sector. Alvin was responsible for the delivery of the 2018 revaluation for both Darebin and Wyndham Councils.
Alvin has extensive involvement in the provision of valuation services for supplementary valuations, objections, rate exemptions, public open space valuations, asset and insurance valuations for Public Sector clients. In addition, Alvin is a member of the Valuer General Victoria’s Panel of Valuers and is also a member of the Municipal Group of Valuers.
Jesse has over 10 years’ experience with Westlink and has worked primarily in rating and taxing undertaking municipal valuations. Jesse started in The City of Yarra where he was involved in managing the site and returning the 2008 revaluation. In 2010 Jesse moved into a management role on the City of Greater Geelong contract and was responsible for returning the 2012 and 2014 revaluations, in addition to returning both City of Monash and the City of Port Phillip 2014 revaluations.
Jesse is currently responsible for delivering the City of Maribyrnong’s 2018 revaluation. Since gaining his CPV accreditation Jesse has broadened his valuation experience taking on some private client work.
Jesse is a member of the Valuer General Victoria’s Panel of Valuers.
Mark joined Westlink Consulting in 2010 whilst studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Valuations). Mark’s experience includes completing valuations for rating and taxation, acquisition and disposal, public open space, development contribution plans and rating objections and appeals.
Mark has extensive knowledge of inner metropolitan Melbourne with respect to residential, retail, commercial and light industrial markets. Mark was responsible for the return of the 2016 revaluation for Yarra City Council and Moreland City Council.
Mark spent 2 years at JLL as a valuer, undertaking valuations for mortgage security purposes before returning to Westlink in 2018.
Nick joined Westlink’s Rating and Taxing Department in 2013 whilst he was at university studying for his property degree. He has worked on the 2014 & 2016 General Revaluation returns for Knox City Council, the 2014 General Revaluation for Brimbank City Council and is currently at Monash City Council undertaking a broad range of valuation tasks including high level objections.
Nick graduated from RMIT University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property & Valuations) and gained his CPV accreditation in May 2018. Nick has been responsible for undertaking public open space valuations and supplementary valuations for Knox, Brimbank, Yarra and Monash City Councils.
Daniel initially joined Westlink Consulting in 2009 to assist with the CLUE program at Brimbank City Council. He subsequently moved to Maroondah City Council to undertake to Supplementary Valuations.
Since 2010, Daniel has been on site at Monash City Council assisting with supplementary valuations, public open space valuations and the 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2018 general revaluation and objections.
Daniel graduated with a Diploma of Building in 2005, a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property) in 2009 and gained his CPV accreditation in June 2018.
James has been employed in the Rating and Taxing Department since March 2015. He assisted with the return of the 2016 & 2018 general revaluation for Maroondah City Council and was responsible for undertaking public open space and supplementary valuations.
James graduated from Deakin University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Property & Real Estate and a Bachelor of Commerce. He gained his CPV accreditation in June 2018.
Matthew is a Certified Practising Valuer who joined Westlink Consulting’s Rating and Taxing Department in 2013.Forming part of the Casey and Cardinia Valuation’s team, Matthew has experience specific to South East Victoria including public open space valuations, compensation assessments, acquisition and disposal of Council land and valuations for Development Contribution Plans/Infrastructure Contribution Plans. He has a particular interest in Englobo development sites located within the Urban Growth Boundary.
Matthew completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Property) in 2014. He is an Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute.
Tessa joined Westlink’s Rating and Taxing Department in 2014 whilst she was at university studying for her property degree. She worked on the 2016 & 2018 General Revaluation returns for Knox City Council, assisting with public open space valuations, objection and one off valuations. She is currently undertaking a broad range of valuation tasks including high level objections for Knox and Monash City Councils.
Tessa also undertakes a diverse range of private and commercial client valuations, in addition to assisting Brendan Sheales with specialised valuations.
Tessa graduated from Deakin University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Real Estate and Property and gained her CPV accreditation in July 2019.
